This website is devoted to professional observations gleaned from my years of working in various vocations (banking, economics, engineering, manufacturing). A vast collection of the writings will be a critique of orthodoxy and conventional thinking when it is obvious that they provide little insight. Additionally, other posts may contain a defence of convention when that appears to be viable option. Concurrently, there is respect for the real world — full of its messiness of chaos — rather than the convenience of abstraction.
Ultimately, in homage to Bernard of Chartres, this is a modest attempt to see a little further.
